Mild 2 Wild Event…

NEW RELEASE: N4WDA Mild 2 Wild Event Postponed…for Second Time!

COVID-19 FORCES N4WDA to CANCEL September 12, 2020 MILD 2 WILD EVENT

“N4WDA discussed the Mild 2 Wild event that was rescheduled for September 12th (already rescheduled from May 9th) and concluded that they will cancel the event until next year. The 5th N4WDA Silver State Poker Run has also been cancelled until next year.”

The reasons for cancellation of Mild 2 Wild are:

·    The uncertainty of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

·         The fact that we had only 3 pre-registrations for the event, though we realize that registrations would probably increase as we near the event date. Participants have the same uncertainty that our Board considered.

·         We don’t know what BLM will decide about the event as they also have to adhere to the Covid-19 restrictions.

We hope to hold the Mild 2 Wild event in May 2021 if the pandemic is under control and the restrictions are relaxed.

We also hope to hold the 5th Silver State Poker Run next September as these events are both fund-raisers to support the Association and to provide fun events for our members and the general public (which makes them aware of our Association and promotes membership).

We hope that you all are safe and adhering to the guidelines. We also hope that you are able to get away from home and use your vehicles to enjoy safe 4-wheeling in the desert and forests. We want to see you out on the trails!

Earlier Event Cancellation from May 9, 2020 to September 12th…

As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic the N4WDA Board of Directors waited as long as possible to see if we would be able to keep the Saturday, May 9th, date for our inaugural Mild 2 Wild event...Unfortunately, as you all know, the need for People to STAY HOME exceeds our need to have a fun event.

We will continue to monitor the situation and, when it is safe for us to get together again, we will reschedule Mild 2 Wild and send out messages to all. The BLM has agreed to work with N4WDA, and we will be able to change the date on our Special Use Permit or roll it over to next year, if needed. We currently are awaiting word from our provider on the ability to change the date on the prepaid General Liability Insurance policy that is required by the BLM.

We are also starting to have concerns about the ability to hold our other events, our participation in “Rock Crawlers and Brews”, scheduled for June 6th, and our 5th Annual N4WDA Silver State Poker Run, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th.

Please keep safe and healthy so we can ALL get through this and get back to wheelin’, whether in your Jeep, truck, atv or side by side.
