2010 Stampede Ultra4 Race Videos,
Part 1: Ultra4 Tech Inspections!

September 10-11, 2010—Exit 28 East of Reno, Nevada...Off-Road Racing and
Severe Rock Crawling...A 'King of the Hammers'
Qualifier!
The inaugural
Stampede Race turned the Ultra4 racing world on edge. Intended as a "qualifying race" for the 2011 King of the
Hammers event scheduled for Johnson Valley, California, the regional race near Reno proved every bit as challenging
as the notorious 'King of the Hammers' event!
Three 22-mile laps of combined desert fast track, mountainous terrain, an
extreme rock crawl segment and more—many drivers contrasted the Stampede Ultra4 Race to the King of the Hammers and
Baja—with the added punishment of extreme rock crawling thrown into the
mix!
One way to size up technology is by viewing pre-race vehicle inspections.
Here's a close look at off-road racing's most competitive and versatile 4x4s, the Ultra4
Class!
